Co-Draft has adopted a variety of innovative approaches to prepare students to think not just like lawyers but also like clients and scholars. The Founder of this Academy, Mrs. Maheshwary Mohan, a lawyer, practising for over two decades and a part time lecturer in law schools has carefully designed this course, keeping in mind the competition in the profession, the curriculum in law schools and the competency of students. She is a post graduate in Psychology and in Law (Specialisation in Intellectual Property Rights and Cyber Law). Started career as a lawyer from 1993 in Chennai; have partnered with law firms like King & Partridge, Chennai, specialising in Civil laws, Corporate Laws, IPR, Real properties, drafting and have assisted renowned lawyers in India constituted M & M Associates, Advocates, a Law firm in Chennai, would be the guiding force to the students of this Academ

I joined the one month course on legal drafting. in which madam taught the crucial documents necessary for legal practise. Maheshwari ma’am cleared all the doubts which came from students. As a retired judge of the High Court I feel it is very important for lawyers to learn and enhance legal drafting skills.
Every petition filed by the counsels should be comprehensive and self explanatory. We find petitions that lacks facts and sometime prone to interpretation.
Good drafting will really help the court in disposing the cases faster.
